Mike C. O’Brien began appraising real estate in 1997 concentrating primarily on bank underwriting opinions.  It wasn’t until 1999 that he was first exposed to right of way valuation and the seeds were planted and his work’s passion took root. In 2008, he founded O’Brien Realty Advisors, now known as O’Brien Right of Way Valuation.

At O’Brien Right of Way Valuation, we have extensive experience in appraising all types of properties and their impacts as a result of a Right of Way acquisition. Our appraisers have provided expert testimony in thousands of administrative proceedings, depositions and in various state and federal trial courts related to eminent domain cases. Collectively they are designated Members of the Appraisal Institute (MAI), designated with the International Right of Way Association’s (IRWA) Right of Way Appraisal Certification (RW-AC), Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), State Certified General Appraisers, Real Estate Brokers, and Professional Project Managers as well as licensed Appraisal Trainees.
